Over the years, many of us (looking at you, millennials) have amassed hundreds, even thousands of friends on Facebook. Yet, while our real-life connections have changed over time, our digital networks often remain stuck in the past.
Our feeds are flooded with photos and updates from people we barely remember or whose names don’t even sound familiar. But here’s the problem: every one of those connections has access to your content, your updates, and your life. And that’s not always a good thing.
For many, the clutter has become so overwhelming that Facebook no longer feels usable, and they’ve turned to other platforms to connect with actual friends and family.
But you don’t need to abandon Facebook altogether. Cleaning up your friends list can make Facebook a usable space again–one where you connect with the people who truly matter to you.
In real life, our relationships evolve, and so should our digital ones. Managing your online connections is crucial to your online privacy, and helps you ensure your digital life is as intentional as your real one.
Whether you’re looking to declutter your feed, protect your personal information, or deep clean your Facebook friends, Privacy Party’s latest mass unfriending feature has you covered.
No more tedious, manual unfriending. Now, you can mass select the people you no longer want to be connected with and remove them all in just one click. Scrubbing large amounts of friends at once saves you time and effort compared to removing people one by one.
A deep clean allows you to be more intentional about who gets to see your content on Facebook, as well as whose updates you see on your timeline. It’s a simple, effective way to make your digital life better reflect your real one and keep your personal information safe.
1. Navigate to your Privacy Party dashboard on Facebook. Tap the orange beaker icon on the bottom left side of the sidebar to access the recommendation “Unfriend people you no longer want to be connected with”
2. Select the friends you wish to remove
3. Select “Remove from friends”
